It arrives in the in-between moments: the pause after a conversation that should have felt like enough, the particular quality of 3am, the sense that the life you are living, good as it is, has not yet reached its own depth.

Most of us have learned to move past it. To fill the space before it can speak.

This is an invitation to stop filling the space.

Over five days at the Poseidonion Grand Hotel on the island of Spetses, we will gather with some of the most important thinkers and healers of our time — not to be instructed, not to be fixed, but to remember together what it means to be fully alive. Through honest dialogue, embodied practice, and time in one of the most quietly beautiful places in the Aegean, we will explore what chronic stress actually is, what it is trying to tell us, and what becomes possible when we finally listen.

This is not a retreat from life. It is a return to it.

THE VENUE

The Poseidonion Grand Hotel has been a landmark on the Spetses skyline for the past 100 years with its exceptional architecture echoing hotels of Côte d’Azur style. The hotel first opened in 1914, was the brainchild of Sotirios Anargiros, a visionary benefactor who was responsible for much of Spetses’ development. Furthermore, it represented the cosmopolitan face of the island and soon became one of its famous landmarks, a favourite destination for the Athenian high society.

Following a meticulous five-year restoration programme which has brought the hotel fully up to date with the finest facilities, fixtures, and fittings while carefully preserving the original architecture of the building, Poseidonion Grand Hotel, fully refurbished, re-opened its doors in the summer of 2009, ready to welcome new visitors.

The hotel comprises of two buildings with superior and deluxe rooms and suites, several with private gardens or balconies offering spectacular views of the Dapia Port area and the sparkling blue-turquoise sea.

Spetses, a picturesque island near Athens has a main village with restricted car use, many shops, cafes and with rich naval history and lovely beaches, Poseidonion Grand Hotel offers moments of luxury and opportunities for deep relaxation!
